Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha disclosed that she was transgender at the time she entered in high school. Sasha had to face some tough times however, she knew that her family was there to support him, and believed that music would help. Jim and Sasha, both songwriters, are now an official duo, and they have performed in open mics as well as other local venues. The Voice coaches never discussed Sasha's background, but Jim and Sasha shared their story in a video clip shown prior to their performance. The two talked about their music choices as well as how Sasha first picked up a guitar at the age of six years old. His father is a musician instructor, making it easier to learn the art for his.
